When considering the color of your choice, perhaps you could evaluate the color of the hardware, and the tone of the shoe that matches your wardrobe best. 

Taking the Luna in Ocean or Denim, for example; the Denim color is a cooler tone of blue and has a silver toned zipper, so would go better with cool/neutral tones. The Ocean color is a warmer blue and has a gold toned zipper, so would pair better with earth tones and brown stitching.
